So, I know that this is a business blog - not personal. I try not to talk too much about my personal life, husband, family, kids, yet I want you to know that I'm a regular person (I know, I know, I have to try hard to convince you that selling cupcakes isn't the glamorous job you thought it was) trying to make a success out of what I love to do. Trying to balance work and family. I know in each and every blog posting I tell you how flavorful, moist, and delicious the cupcakes are. You've probably heard from other people how awesome these cupcakes are, and maybe you've been lucky enough to try these cupcakes for yourself. Well, today I present to you proof of the deliciousness that is redvelvetcupcakes.
I know, you're saying - so what. Its a picture of an absolutely adorable 4 year old girl eating a cupcake. Not to mention, she's your daughter so of course she's going to like her mommy's cupcakes. Well, let me give you a just a little background on my precious princess pictured here. First, this is my daughter who doesn't like ANYTHING - ok, she like's a few things, but only if they are prepared exactly to her specifications and whims for that particular moment in time (her whims change minute to minute). Seriously, I mean toast can't be toasty, meat can't be "crispy", juice can only be served in one color cup, pizza can't have cheese on it, sandwiches must be cut in triangles with no crust.....I mean, this kid is seriously particular - she doesn't even like popsicles! What kid doesn't like a popsicle? Anyway, I digress. She is not tempted by any of my cupcakes, unless they are chocolate. So, yesterday I made sweet chocolate with chocolate buttercream to take to my meeting with the restaurant owner. And yes, she liked the cupcake. But look closely, um, she's actually done eating the cupcake.
She's sucking the cupcake paper! That's how good it is! So, if this isn't scientific proof of how awesome these cupcakes are, then maybe this is
My picky, smiling child eating cupcake paper!
Recently, I've had a few people ask me if I did larger size cupcakes. Honestly, I didn't know that there would be such a market for them. But if the people demand, then I gladly supply. I present to you JUMBOS! I'm pretty certain that "jumbo cupcake" is an oxymoron.....but so what. Who wouldn't want more moistness, more deliciousness, more flavor, and more frosting! Here we go. I made three flavors of the jumbos so far. Sweet chocolate paired with chocolate buttercream topped with real chocolate sprinkles,
Fresh strawberry paired with fresh strawberry buttercream topped with strawberry crumbles (I put the jumbo next to the regular so you can see the difference in size). The jumbo makes the regular size cupcake look down right inadequate! Poor thing! :)
And finally, the three jumbos standing together
I think these jumbos would be perfect for a dinner party, birthday party, or if the regular size cupcake leaves you wanting more! Would you buy a dozen of these?
Until next time, spreading happiness one cupcake at a time!
